Painting when there is that sort of gap makes it look like it ran up but couldn't hold the highs.

Again, I don't think this matters in the scheme of things but even if it did close at .70 it wasn't going to open there.

Manipulation? Blame the algorithm. There isn't some nerd sitting at a computer for each and every stock trying to screw investors out of money.
