not to be smart but an add for a gay tv network is an odd thing to see as well. maybe we are on the cutting edge.

we have a security company up here in Canada that states its ticker symbol in all its adds on radio and in the paper.

i just dont see it as odd or desparate. i see it as a way to attract more investors.
