You can look at HBV and HCV in China to get a picture of 10-20 years down the road. While there is vaccine for HBV, China has mandated vaccination for more than 25 years, overall HBV cases still climb at alarming rate. For HCV, majority will NOT have access to new HCV drug in the next 10 years. Thus unless they can stop or slow the rate of new infection, HCV will continue to rise rapidly in China. 20 years from now, HBV/HCV might not be a big issue in China. In 10 years, it will still be enormous market.
