You're quite right, the speculation factor plays a big role in pharmaceutical stocks. Investors speculating on whether a given pharma will get FDA approval, or be bought out, or have one or more of its patents bought. These are all strong attractions to invest in pharma stocks and provide buying interest much longer than other penny stocks. They're certainly attractive options for ILNS speculators, of which I suspect you are. And they may be for me after the dust settles from the coming reverse split.

Once the pps settles to a (local) bottom, I will consider entry. At which point I will probably swingtrade ILNS. While holding a pinksheet long is risky, the risk is greatly reduced by swingtrading, and if you get enough bounces, you can make serious profits. On the other hand, if ILNS indicates it has a profitable future ahead, then holding long would be smart. We'll know one way or the other in a quarter or two.
