Edit: G'doi, kozuh, did you take on Jesus around the time you moved from a 'raving liberal' toward
conservatism. Out of interest where was the overlap? It just clicked there could be one.

That put why did you say what you did? I know vege is used as a demeaning term by
some, i also know what it means. Short for vegetarian. Is yours supposed to be a joke?

"VEGETARIAN is an old Anglo-Saxon word ... (see below)

where: VEGE = clumsy or awkward .. TARIAN = hunter"

Sheezzz .. tarian isn't [even]defined yet. .. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=tarian .. [am working on a submission]

Seriously .. You've lost me on your use of a meaningless word??? .. you couldn't mean that "hunter" is meaningless.

Origin of the Word "Vegetarian"

The word vegetarian, coined by the founders of the British Vegetarian Society in 1842, comes from the Latin word vegetus, meaning "whole, sound, fresh, or lively," as in homo vegetus-a mentally and physically vigorous person. The original meaning of the word implies a balanced philosophical and moral sense of life, a lot more than just a diet of vegetables and fruits. .. http://www.actionforanimalsnetwork.org/doyouknow.htm

It doesn't mean that vegetarians are all that, of course.

Lololol .. cuz i don't know what else to do .. tarian! .. sheeezzz .. where the didlydoo did yours come from?

Edit: in Australia "vege" = short for vegetable, too .. used more because people talk about vegetable more than they talk about vegetarians. LOL
