It was against my expecation, set by ARRY, NVS would go via combination route. NVS actually is going with monotherapy on the conventional RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK pathway. BRAF and NRAS mutatins are quite common in melanoma. Basically NVS is following AZN route without the chemo, for now.

Right, for now. But ARRY has guided in the past, and reiterated in the presentation today, that they expect NVS to test MEK162 in combo with their own PI3K/AKT/mTOR inhibitors in the future.
