The term 'price sensitive' probably applies to most countries except the U.S.

For instance, in Israel they allot only XXX dollars to be spent on drugs each year. They have a list that drugs go on or drugs come off of pertaining to their benefit.

UK again only spends XXX dollars. For instance they will pay for Lucentis, but only in one eye. They feel you can function good enough with one eye. Also as of yet, the UK won't cover the approved Avastin for CRC.

In the EU countries they control the price in relationship to the benefit. An example would be Novartis's new MS drug costing 25% less than the U.S.
