yes in the sense that HCV doesn't integrate in host like other viruses like herpes, HBV, HIV, and so is curable in that sense, but i just wanted to highlight what i think has been somewhat marginalized by the viral breakthrough data and that's simply this is the very first cure EVER of HCV without interferon.
given interferon is the body's natural defense against the virus and has a MOA which is still not completely defined imo it was not a given that DAAs without interferon would ever achieve SVR
