Hollywood Consultant Brings Major Celebrities to Q Television
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Apr 27, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Q Television Network, (Pink Sheets: QBID) announced today that Rodney A. Omanoff has joined Q Television Network as a consultant, bringing with him some major Hollywood celebrities to the Q Network family.
Rodney A. Omanoff gained recognition early on in his career as a talent agent when he founded, co-owned and served as President of one of the most renowned live performance booking agencies in the country, representing national comedy touring acts such as Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, Paul Rodriguez, George Lopez, Pauly Shore, Damon Wayans, Arsenio Hall, Kevin Pollak, Richard Lewis, Tommy Chong, and many more.
Today Mr. Omanoff owns and operates Creative Management Group (CMG) and Creative Production Group (CPG) with offices in New York and Los Angeles. CMG represents celebrity clients including prominent talent such as Ms. Roseanne Barr.
CPG develops and produces projects for television, film, and live performance. Their film division develops and produces motion pictures to be set up and distributed by the major studios. Some high profile projects currently in development include, but are not limited to, a co-production with Madonna's Boy Toy Productions to develop and produce a permanently mounted live production show in Las Vegas called "Madonna's Girlie Show Live", with Madonna as Executive Producer, CPG as Producer, and Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone as Director; and motion picture rights to the hit 1970's television sitcom, "Good Times."
