Not quite concierge medical care, saw a TV story about a doctor (but I believe the story indicated this was getting more common) who did not accept insurance. He had lower costs since he did not have a staff and wasn't set up for the billing complexities. His clients seemed to be young, healthier (uninsured) people. I don't recall the exact amount his office visits were but I remember doing some rough calculations in my head and thinking he probably is a low paid doc smile.
