I have seen the insulated duct type systems with fans @ both ends work well. I believe they come in 8" and 10" diameter sizes.

I'm interested in the gravity setup because I have a 28' vaulted ceiling where the insert is and it is next to the bedrooms & hall way upstairs. Some how I have to let that air flow up there & through a wall or floor. The ceiling fan is helping move the air a little, but I need more.
