Any comments or feedback (good or bad) is appreciated.
A few things to note first off:
1) This data is ONLY for shipments made to the US. And only for consignees that allow their information to be public. For instance, Nike has privatized their shipping data, likely for marketing reasons.
2) As mentioned above, since this is only for PUBLIC US shipments, there are likely more shipments then I can find data for. For instance, Oceanic seems to be shipping a lot of barbecue's to Rona - a Canadian big box building supply chain. We are seeing the shipments that happen to land in US ports but it could be very well that any number of shipments arrived in the port of Vancouver and I don't have that data. We know also that there are sales to Australia and New Zealand for sure and likely Europe as well. Not to mention domestic orders.
3) These numbers CANNOT be fudged, unlike some company's financial statements. This data comes from US Customs and that can't be messed with. If anything, as mentioned above - these numbers are low.

Note: Sanfan appears to have a lot more varied products. Because of this, shipment weights seem to fluctuate wildly. A light fixture for instance will weight a lot less then an air conditioner or wine cooler. The only thing this data shows imo is that Sanfan is alive and kicking, it gives zero indication of sales value at all.
