The emergency room is usually in a hospital.
The hospital by law can't refuse anyone treatment. The government doesn't pay medicade and Medicare patients the same as private insurers. Private doctors are already refusing government patients. When there are no more private insurers there won't be any doctors. Except the ones that will gladly accept cash from those who work and have it. IMO
