Its not a very productive situation. Besides, unions do not mean higher quality just higher costs in most cases. At one time they provided a great service to the employees. Laws have been inacted to see the things unions stood for no longer happen. At this time unions mostly seem concerned for the unions, not the employees (although they talk a good game) or the survival of the company (UAL mechanics are a good example). Even Walmart is aware of the impact on bottom line of unions. If they become unionized either profits go much lower or the competition eats their lunch. Either way they suffer, as do SHs and eventually there are fewer employees. Many of those working the high paying steel jobs 15 - 20 years ago are now working at Walmart & Mickey Ds. If those jobs disappear,,,,,,,, well cutting grass and shoveling snow??????
