Actually i wasn't disagreeing with you at all, quite the contrary, what set me off there was this -

'Sometimes when I read guys I follow I do exactly the opposite of what they suggest (and it works out :o) Like Bobby says: Don't follow leaders, Watch the parkin' metres '

.. and i agree absolutely, i was just putting reasons behind why i agree - because it's the thought processes that count, the methods of discipline you work up in your own mind, and not the specific picks du jour .... most of us with any firmness to the spine and a degree of survival instinct will look at each idea critically, maybe even have a tendency to avoid doing something our neighbour does, just to be independent, that's a good trait largely imho, it means a commitment to self-education hopefully ... but i wasn't responding to any other part of your post [yes, read back and can see how you might have thought so]

We do have different styles yes, that's the great beauty of the net, that numbers of different styles can get together and discuss specialised topics ... it's not just JK and CC, i was only using them for examples, there are thousands of us ... i hadn't had you or Michael bookmarked here yet because i know where to find you -g-, but on SI i must have over a hundred peoplemarked, and follow much of the discussion by going through bios not threads, especially when time is limited, it's far faster if you know who goes where the action is .... but to do something just because they do - no, no way

Claude may be looking for a swing trade in gas, fairly short term, his thoughts on it would be interesting eh .... he has already branched out a little from minerals, with that dmx.to, which had an exciting week on serious volume, looks like it may have bottomed .. ? ... hard to say, big open gap-up there, maybe you could argue that the news justified it ... but this guy says no -

' NP/CP say Dimethaid rally not expected to last

Dimethaid Research Inc

In the News
The National Post reports in its Wednesday, Dec. 4, edition that Tera Capital
analyst Duncan Stewart says Dimethaid Research shares are held mainly by retail
investors "who have a tendency to bid the stock up quite aggressively" on good
news. A Canadian Press dispatch to the Post reports that Mr. Stewart does not
believe Dimethaid stock's recent rise to $3 is sustainable. The stock soared 80 per
cent on Tuesday, a day after the company said it had moved to closer to
marketing approval in Canada for its Pennsaid lotion. Mr. Stewart says
Dimethaid's Pennsaid news overall was good but "extremely late." He says, "We
were supposed to have this years ago." CP says Pennsaid is a topical treatment
for osteoarthritic pain of the knee. Mr. Stewart says the market for this type of
pain treatment is competitive and success of the product in the Canadian market
will depend on how many people buy it.
