When I raise cash, right now, I indeed get less than 1%. On rare occasions, when I feel that we have a lengthy period where I'll have to be heavy in cash, I may go into short term (treasuries) notes, but that is not much better now. I need the freedom to launch, sometimes most of the cash (yesterday there were times when I was at 10% cash only ...) so going into mutual funds is a pain.
