So you don't think there were grounds for a humanitarian effort in Libya? Forget all other nations suffering from abuse from their "leaders", concentrate on Libya for the moment - should the world have sat back and allowed Libya to slaughter it's people because they were demonstrating against the regime?
As for the oil opporltunity in Libya, there's no doubt in my mind our humanitarian concerns would have been ignored were it not for that black gold, but you cannot ignore a humanitarian concern - we were not LIED to about WMD!
