Granted the poster's statement was idiotic.

People often say idiotic things on various message boards, so that in itself is unremarkable. What’s remarkable is that, even now, not one person on that board has replied to correct such an idiotic statement. (Almost 200 people have read the message and nine people actually recommended it.)
