Hey MMech... had to answer this question here, due to limitation over there...LOL ... but as some say I own that board over there so I guess I limited myself...LOL

"Hasn't someone recently posted either via an GKG article, interview or contact with VGE about them talking about the "difficulty" in propegating the crop, about how delicate the seedlings are?

I might be wrong and admit to being an idiot because my brain is a total sieve these days, but if I do remember correctly, this might be the marketing change from " we have the exclusive rights to the plant " to "we have years of growing and cultivating experience to assure maximum potential of your crop purchase"

Not sure but I think I recall back in 2009 when the DP MOU was all the rage that the board discuss the number of seedling per acre thing back then.... at point I think we got something like an email for Dr.J or Dr.K pointing out that you can get up to 20 per what ever but due to the nature of combining the two plants in what I think was refered to as an Hybrid cut that it average 10 per whatever (*acre)?

From what I understand once a seedling grow you can't make seedlings from it, you know like a mule or donkey is sterile. I think you still have to have the original two grasses to cut together to create a seedling and this has to be done by hand.

Not sure on this info but I think this is what I recal and it is this process that actually protect the Licensor to China Gate as it there creating of the hybrid plant that is actually protected and licensed.
