Oh come. <g> The unemployment number today came from a bunch of idiots wandering around knocking on doors trying to ask survey questions of people that are telling them to F off. If they were lucky they actually got to see the person, but none the less they just made "educated" guesses to make sure all the blanks on the survey forms got filled. They're not allowed to come back without the forms being filled in. The statisticans do their work and pull a rabbit.... number out of a hat.
The puzzling thing today is, why did they have it look so bad 3 weeks before Christmas? And D-day, Dec 28th the day when Fed unemployment runs out is coming up fast.
Interesting, the futures at 10:48 made another run at 910.00, but came up short and that was the swoon in the indexes. Looks like good for 45 points down on the Dow. TICK right after that tanked and at 10:53 hit a new LOD,
