How many companies announce a buyback and never use a cent of it in this space? Given that track record, seeing a company buyback $500,000 worth of stock is certainly worthy of notice. It makes the LIKELIHOOD they utilize the buyback much much higher than the companies that have not spent a penny, you would have to agree to that? As Gary used to say, 'Skate to where the puck is GOING to be.' Waiting till they utilize the full buyback (ie: when the chicken hatches) before noticing will only make you miss any move the stock makes, putting you late to the party.

Frankly i'm amazed by how many people here are not willing to give one positive word of praise to an action that has *no* negative interpretation. The only question is how positively one interprets that last PR.

Certainly that $500,000 made the stock go up 5% yesterday while many names were down 3%-5%. The market obviously liked it, no matter how passe people on this board were about it.
