I just want to clear up a few things and say that there are false things being mentioned here.
Regarding the DRM- portability- It has been proven, with Spiralfrog, that you can play certain DRM files on portable devices. In this sense, Qtrax is similar to Spiralfrog. People should stop depending on others to prove these things- they should do their own DD- the facts are out there, all over the internet. Regarding the failure of Spiralfrog- this, too, has been beaten into the ground on this board. The reason they failed- they had 2 labels and in the US. Qtrax has AT LEAST 3 Majors, and GLOBALLY. Just so you know, in case you don't want to look this up, China and India EACH HAVE about 4 times the number of people in the US. Indonesia, Brazil, and others are not far behind. Can you even comprehend the possible numbers of who will use Qtrax??? If Spiralfrog had 6 million, Qtrax will be so much more. This is why they have not launched with one country, like so many people want. To make money, they MUST HAVE MANY MORE THAN 6 million. Now, regarding the current page views. Please stop. You just cannot go by this. The PR campaign HAS NOT EVEN BEGUN!!! Please stop asking others to prove everything here, if you are not doing your own DD. This theory of no portability has simply been proven incorrect.
Regarding the "FAKE" display in Times Square. Weak argument. And the burden of proof must lie on the back of the person claiming it to be fake- as adequate proof has been proven it to be real, by the story of the company, and the fact that Qtrax is their customer, and the photo has been provided. Now prove it to be fake, other than saying 'it's possible to fake these pictures' and then relying on that theory. Again, very weak
