Agreed SX...

Maybe someday we'll get things right but it's going to take a major shift in how things are accomplished...(to quote a bumpersticker I saw) , "If the People Lead , the Leaders will Follow" !

Despite the normal 'go-along-with-the-program' mentality of the Japanese culture (& that's fine...in it's place), I strongly suspect this is how it's going to play-out after this horrific series of events subsides. The general populace , out of sheer defiance & in self-defense , will have no choice or inclination to allow the ignorant &/or corrupt powers-that-be to let these god-forsaken doomsday machines to be any part of their culture from this time forward. Any notion of them being 'safe' is , right this minute , being proven 'wrong' BIGTIME...the risks do NOT outweigh the consequences.

I hope the citizens of the world (forget the so-called 'leaders') are paying attention.
