I could be wrong, but in order to make your shares unavailable to short/or more expensive to short, all you need to do is place your shares for sale...at a reasonably HIGHER price than you think would fill.
Of course, you would have to keep track, unless you don't mind a surprise spike that might take your shares, but that is not always bad, and you could stagger your price. IMHO
