Alpine Total Dynamic Dividend CEF (AOD)

Maybe you don't understand the concept of going ex dividend and what it does to the price of any stock that pays out the dividend. All stocks drop right after they pay a dividend, so if AOD is holding stock XYZ and XYZ stock pays $1.00 a share dividend, the same day the share price always almost drops by at least $1.00 the equal amount of the payout. So does this make AOD a terrible investment or SCAM? NO not at all. I understand how and why they have income that was offset by declining share prices, it makes sense to me because the mission of the fund is to specifically target the companies that are going EX-Dividend. You complaining is futile, they are a dividend ROTATION FUND, not a dividend fund, not a mutual fund , not a hedge fund! A DIVIDEND ROTATION FUND!
