Webinar - FWIW, I did call the company and express my significant displeasure that the company would PR the event and then proceed to have it be a colossal POS.
I asked point blank if leadership understood this fact and was taking it seriously so that it would not happen again.
I was told the company defintely gets it and that it is absolutely being addressed and will not happen again. I found this reassuring.
I have encountered CEOs in the past who did not get the importance of communication strategy and was oblivious to the fact they were bad at it. I have been told Mr. Fane is not like that and I certainly expect Institute B to lead this company on this front with skill and precision.
So, I look forward to evidence of follow-through as we move into the spring.
