Actually, there is a way to "make money without increasing the A/S" - to conspire with TA to issue unregistered shares. That's what Parkin & Co did last time. But you are right, this is definitely not the case now, with this "new management". They have no means and creativity to do anything like this. The whole story with reviving Aurus was about selling dozens millions of insiders shares that came out of restriction. By any counts they should be out of shares now. That may explain the reduced PR activity by the company. So, put yourself in their place - you have a tool to pump a share price (website, PRs) but you can't actually benefit from the price spike which can happen. What would you do? The answer - you need to get cheap shares somehow. Either force shareholders to exchange shares for old bonds, or buy them on open market and sell on any rally. Bonds "protection program" didn't work, and buying at the market is risky because share price doesn't actually react on any positive news they are trying to announce. Besides, as I predicted from every beginning, this Buddy's crazy idea with paying a dividend put them down completely.
Most investors/traders don't really care whether Aurus is a scam. All they want is to get some money back and hopefully more than they invested in this stock. "New management" had all opportunities to double and triple share price by concentrating on business related PRs (real or fictional). That was my point from the every beginning. Instead they were cornered by this "dividend" idea, which put them in lose-lose situation. Every "great news" they tell us now is yawned: "Where is our cash dividend?"
... and this was written well before they made any "dividend payments".
