Susie, you can't marginalize the voters who reject either party. Especially because they may have disrupted your own preferred outcome.

If so, why do we even allow any more than two candidates in any election.

A vote for Nader was a vote for Nader. Given that most Nader voters probably reviled Bush and knew their vote might help to get him elected, they still did so. Why? Perhaps they reviled Kerry just as much. Perhaps they "chose" Nader because they agreed with him.

Under your philosophy Jesse Venture never would have run, let alone been elected. IMO, this a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush philosophy is very undemocratic.

(BTW, I would respect a vote for Nader - or Perot - more than I would respect an ABB vote.)
