Secession is easy for any State ...

All you need is a Constitutional Amendment that says:

"Texas is not subject to any part of this Constitution."

The South should have used this peaceful, legal way

to secede from the Union. Most of the Northern States

would have gladly gone along with this Amendment

process.

Unfortunately, some hot-heads started shooting at

Ft. Sumter when Congress was NOT in session, so

Lincoln made a one-man decision to go to war. Did

Congress ever declare war ... ??? NOT legally with

all the Southern States absent ... .
