I think that's definitely a possibility, but the hang up for me in believing that the call is all kosher is the fact that there was the promise of a job to this woman. If she was merely disseminating something given to all potential clients there shouldn't be any reason for her to seek the promise of a job.

I can't imagine they struck up the prospect of future employment at MW by chance. There was some kind of quid quo pro here that's still hidden. This is assuming of course that this woman does work(ed) for CCME and that it's not a complete set up.
