What I mean is this:
The first MW piece has incorrect or incomplete data that it represented as correct and complete. It based its report in large part on an advertisers kit that others claim was manufactured by MW. So the question is, did MW make its inaccurate assertions in good faith, or was it lying?
The tape transcript might be a basis for MW to say: "Well, we may have been wrong, but as this tape shows, there was a CCME sales rep who gave us the data. We did not know at the time that it was incomplete, or that there was a reason why it would show fewer buses than were under contract."
If they acted in good faith in making their assertions, then they are in a better position than they would be if they lied.
There are holes in the MW position that I have identified but don't want to publish here. I am throwing it open to the group in teh hopes of finding problems I may have missed: Are there holes in this alibi that you can identify?
