If you'd like to see a microsom of America without unions just look at WalMart. The vast majority of employees work at or close to minimum wage, are not allowed full-time employment, and thus are denied medical and retirement benefits. This model of employment is a growing trend in America throughout all sectors. Not at all surprising because as unions decline (membership is down to about 17% of the work force) so dies their influence throughout all levels of labor.
