*Oil smashed today, the leading futures contract down 1.96 at 51.75... yet all the markets can muster is flat for the day, to me this is more proof that high oil prices are here to stay. I think I pointed out on Friday that the markets were pointing to future troubles when they got smashed in unison with oil.
