Albert Pujols vs Wisconsin
Contract negotiations are up, the Cardinals have offered 5 years , or 150 Million, but Albert wants 10 years and 300 Million, or the same amount of money the Governor of Wisconsin wants to save by outlawing the right to bargain for all state workers, and forcing cuts upon thousands upon thousands of teachers, governement workers, Correctional Officers, police and fire department workers and so on.
Why is it in America we have enough money to pay one ball player this much money, we call it the free market, but when it comes to the lives of all these people in Wisconsin, then we must continually ask to cutback and sacrifice the education of all children, the safety of all Wisconsin citizens with the police and fireman who protects us each day, and all of those transportation workers who work on the roads, and all of those correctional officers who guard all of those prisoners.
Its just like what has happened in the stock market, we had to bail out all of those financial institutions that were going under, and then award all of those billions in bonuses to those financial idiots, because there contracts had to be honored.
America has lost its ability to know what is worth saving, like teachers, fireman, and policeman, and can only save the people who have destroyed the lives of millions of americans with fraudulent mortgage loans.
It was just like yesterdays action in the market, a few stocks closed green giving the market the appearance of being up, but upon further reflection of the many screens we all watch each day, it was abundently clear that most stocks finished in the red.
March 4th is right around the corner, do we fund the government, or write another check to keep it going, or does america take the rght step and quit giving all of the money to just the select few in this country, and let the entire working class just slip into the abyss ?
