I've lived in Jacksonville, and definitely agree it's bad. But you need to try Texas. It's absolutely insane.
Have you ever been ticketed by a camera? Most frustrating experience in the world, because you can't even plead your case. Near where I live, there is a camera at a traffic light that checks to see if, when you are turning right on red, you cross the first white line before fully reaching a stop. It takes a photograph of you, with a motion senser, and then sends you a ticket in the mail if you passed the line prior to stopping.
Just crazy. Almost every person that tries to turn right on red gets ticketed (because no one stops on the first white line, people need to get a closer look at the oncoming traffic, so they go deeper and stop on the second white line).
It's reached a point now where no one will turn right on red at that traffic stop. No wants to even experiment with the camera.
