SAN DIEGO, April 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM - News), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, congratulates Cellular One, a leading provider of wireless communications, on its commercial launch of CDMA2000 1xEV-DO services in Bermuda. The third-generation (3G), high-speed data network, marketed under the name "ONE@home" will be available to customers throughout the island. The rollout of CDMA2000 1xEV-DO will enable Cellular One to offer high-speed data applications and services to its subscribers, providing them instant access to the information they need wherever they may be.
