Agree! The President could not live up to his Promises, partly because he over promised and also because when faced with the perspective of the daily oval office briefing, the simple solutions he offered, like, "We will End the Wars" or " I will Close Guantanimo" just don't pan out. I don't blame his base for becoming dissatisfied but he will never win over the far right so the question is,,, will he be a champion of anyone? The Middle? Who? Bush Failed in this same way. No one liked what he did. Wars etc, especially the spending on special interests goodies. That kind of MalInvestment is what concerns me. It's not the deficit, it's the waste of the money. Governemnt should be spending, or investing on stuff that will truly advance our position in the world not to entice us to buy more, or for pet projects or even so much on public welfare and certainly not Wars and Dictators all over the world. If Obama could carry out what he says he would be Great.
