When I first saw the Tamer working, that was the first thing I thought of, it seems it would spin the blades faster if the larger opening was catching the air and then funneling it to the smaller output side for the venturi effect to increase efficiency.
A large rudder or wing must be designed to keep the turbine properly oriented to the incoming wind. Thats is the engineering that should be looked into. IMHO
