Yes-Jack I am. The property certainly contains mineralization that will be economical to extract. I figured that if you can just throw out a 98% number that it isn't-I could throw out a 100% number that it is to one up you! :)

If you consider that gold has been economically removed from the surface of the property for hundreds of years all the way into the 1950's..that is pretty good indication. The property being at a relatively low elevation very close to utilities/infrastructure doesn't hurt the cause. With gold veins containing close to 500 grams/ton close to the surface-that is a pretty strong argument as well. Throw in a large copper skarn at the surface on the Alto undernealth an iron hat and dozens of other targets that have been sampled on the property-you should start to understand where I came up with the 100% number.

"That's pretty darn good, especially when you consider how little work has been done on the property."

Not sure where you come with such silly notions. I refer you to this:
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf8&u=http://www.medinah-minerals.com/reports/espanol/satellite-report.html&twu=1

"voluminosa informatión geológica existente sobre esta región, producto de la intensa exploración"

"When you say that the "top expert geologists in the world" have been ON Lipangue....that don't really tell me or anybody else "much". You can't just look at the surface of a property and "extrapolate" huge mineralization "underground". It just don't work. If it did a lot of drill crews would be out of a job."

I again refer you to the above link since you clearly haven't read it.

"And what do you mean about Enami and Codelco being "involved"?"

Yes..you don't have go any further than this link to know that they are involved..all the companies on the list are involved with them in some fashion:

http://www.cochilco.cl/english/sitios_interes/empresas_min.asp

"Are you saying that THEY are involved in this supposed deal? If they are then I'd have to wonder why companies like that can't even manage to transfer funds for a JV deal."

Recall that a consortium of companies in the JV. There is a primary partner that is involved in the money transfer that has nothing to do with Enami/Codelco. This primary partner is in the process of transferring money for the Alto De Lipangue project and a number of other projects that they will be working on this year. I would not judge the quality of the JV partners based on the money transfer issues..rather you might want to consider that the U.S. Govt is at fault as they seem to have created enough red tape to make it all but impossible to do business in this country.
As another poster has mentioned-this is becoming all too common problem-see below:

"I just spent three hours on the phone with a very close friend on mine of almost 15 years. He's been involved for many years now with a project in Imperial Valley of So Cal. Here's the link to his and his partners' project. It's very real, very expensive, and I've visited the project, and I'll add that I'm an investor with them albeit a very small one. http://www.sunecoenergy.com/
The reason for this post is that signed their contracts with a large European concern over two weeks ago for funding of $547,000,000. The funds were sent early last week. They are experiencing the very same legal and paperwork issues with the government. They were given an approx date of Feb 22 for clearance of these funds. Sound familiar. That's now no less than six individuals that I have been made aware of regarding international funding of fairly large dollar transactions. The funding, when it occurs, will allow them to expand to 50,000 gallons per day of fuels. You think they are sitting on the edges of their chairs? You bet they are, just as we all are.
We are good to go, imo, as Kirk and others have passed on here. The realities of today's world are what they are. Tic Toc!!"
