My view of the M118 program is unchanged—see #msg-57621347. I hope I’m wrong, of course.

It’s now been 17 months since MNTA announced results of the phase-2 EMINENCE study (#msg-41846746). Drugs with large commercial potential rarely if ever lie fallow for that long.

I hear you but I thought Wheeler's comments during Q&A that MNTA had initiated a new round of discussions for partnering M118 and the fact that the market for partnering cardio drugs looks better given recent failures showed some optimism for the program. I guess the key point is whether or not this is MNTA reaching out again to potential partners on their own or is it potential partners reaching out to them based on a healthier outlook for M118 given the other recent failures in this space? I'm assuming it's the former scenario since Wheeler said MNTA initiated, which is of course less bullish than the other scenario. Still, I thought Wheeler at least continued to show some hope for the program.
