Slippage is always a hassle.. but usually I only play that momentum game with stocks that are very liquid so its not really that big of a problem.. Funny you say that though because I DID learn that the hard way playing with small float issues, and my fills would come back .75 higher/lower, and that wasnt too cool heh..

The other risk is being the high or the low of the day if the momentum stops at resistance and things reverse.. but thats why typically when I play with buy/short stops I am playing with larger positions and as soon as I see I was triggered I set a stop.. so its more for daytrading rather then my position trading..

Obviously its not a sure-way to make huge gains but rather just another tool to keep in mind to help squeeze just a tiny bit more out of the greedy markets : )
