The guy that is coming in today to fix your tv for $300 is not fixing a $300 tv is he? The majority of tv's now are throw away. That means they don't get repaired because the repair bill either exceeds the cost of a new tv or close to it. Would you buy a tv for even say $1,000 and then have a major repair problem develop out of warranty and the estimate is $700, would you repair the tv?

2006 is an election year for Congress and if you think that there will not be something passed on the currency issue then you are sadly fooled.
