My point is only that finding the chirality of any one compound is often pretty difficult. Finding it for 100 compounds (the number of spikes in the mass plots?) could well get prohibitive?

this is not my area but sugars have chirality too it wasn't an issue for lovenox approval
i seriously doubt the FDA is going to require determining the higher order structure of evey polypeptide for mC
