How do you figure you are free if you can only make 3 posts a day, and at that, you are always a half step from being "terminated"?

Of course, maybe three posts a day suits you just fine. Certainly you don't have to worry about any discourse of substance. JMHO.

da Chief, why don't you consider starting your own thread on iHub, cover VLNC and your other favorites. You do have your supporters, you wouldn't clutter other threads, and as the board moderator, you could "delete" the ankle biters.
