I'm not worried about the A15, I'm wondering why you are worried. If they can catch up and possibly even exceed ARM chips in performance/watt, there's no reason it can't continue in the future. It looks like for Atom, the new architecture comes with new process, like with Saltwell. So we should hope Saltwell brings decent microarchitectural advancements too.
Of course if Intel keeps making paper launches, ARM does become a threat. A15 isn't due until 2013, by then yet another Atom chip should be ready. Again, if Intel executes.
