Since Bank of America bought out Merrill Lynch after the financal meltdown in 2008. Merrill Lynch is now part of Bank of America and Bank of America now has a brokerage arm of there bank.
You can set it up on line once your login. There price per trade is pretty good. Also I found out they will trade just about any stock even once that have chills.
Now I know for a fact that scottrade says (we can't transfer stocks under a dollar) That's B/S they can. You have to transfer manually and takes up to 30 days sometimes but it can be done.
One stoc I had I moved it from scottrade to E trade then to zecco then to BofA to try to sell it. In the end I thought to hold on since my better judgement was telling me all this to sell?
So If the chill stays in place and you want out, there's ways around the chill.
BUT I hope the company sorts this out with the SEC and DTCC so we can trade again. Nemo out!
