Powered by e.Digital MicroOS 2.0, it has the capacity to download 4,800 songs, or 400 CDs, at 8 Megabytes per second. The Odyssey 1000 has a 20G hard drive for optimum MP3 and Windows Media WMA playback and a minimum 13-hour battery life on a Lithium-Polymer rechargeable battery.
