They are currently discussing putting an import LNG terminal in Long Beach harbour. Personally, with the lack of security in the Los Angeles/Long Beach harbour, its proximity to the city of L.A. (major population and commercial center), susceptibility of earthquakes, and its attractiveness as a terrorists' target, I wouldn't want it in MY backyard. Having the San Onofre nuclear power plant just down the road is bad enough!
