dewophile- I feel like im actually an asset.. this is great lol

To answer the question about educational materials; because Lovenox is an injectable and used in Acute cases(DVT treatment, PE, and prophylaxis) It is very important that the patients take Lovenox properly to avoid re admittance into the hosptial. This would hurt the hospitals ratings. i.e a person develops a DVT post op and is re admitted hurts the hospitals scores; this makes taking Lovenox important. Believe it or not hospitals aren't always looking out for the patients interest and don't do the best job educating patients! crazy i know. So educational materials are unique to Lovenox and the patients who will be using them; and the hosptials demand them, believe me.

SNY also provides a discharge kits with a instructional DVD, sharps container and more educational material in a box. Sandoz provides the same and it sounds as though TEVA was going to follow suit. On a side note SNY doesn't plan to maintain the discharge kits, another reason to use Sandoz m-enox.

Second I understand your concern about the numbers. I guess i'm a little confused. Forgive me. SNY wasnt even sure at the time how successful they would be keeping the institutional business and quite frankly GAVE up on the retail side. They were very successful keeping 85% of the 70% number.

I am only speaking from experience while "in the field". I would be more than happy to follow up on some current numbers if possible I will post.
