brainlessone, I'm not sure if I've turned bullish, but I am quite certain that I have turned impoverished, (compared to a month ago).

I think there is a good possibility that we will consolidate sideways to slightly down for the next couple trading days, and that any "turn" we get will be back up.
Look at it this way:
1. There is no logical reason for this rally to have come this far. Fundamentals suck, the economy is getting worse, etc., etc., etc.
But it has come this far.
WHY?
I think the PPT gave a nice boost in the beginning, and Da Boy have been running shorts ever since. Remember, we are in the third year of this bear, there are an awful lot of folks, (big hedge funds and the like), which have been riding HUGE short and hold positions, as well as trading huge swing and scalp shorts. And for the past month, it has looked like Da Boys have had their number.
2. There is no logical reason for this rally to go any farther than it already has, unless whoever wanted it to come this far wants it to go farther. And I think "they" do, especially the retail sides of the brokerages. They have to be dying for fees right about now.
3. Going back to TA fundamentals.
The charts tell me that, whatever SHOULD be happening in the market, the SOX and BTK are breaking out like flatulence at a chili cook-off.
I haven't really figured out yet what I'm going to do, but unless things change radically next week, I'm going to go with the flow -- and for now that is the bull side.
